Rated G :: The Kingdom of Aegeas has been overrun with monsters unknown to this land. Their appearance had been gradual, but the threat has since grown to a point that our army can no longer handle it on their own. The creatures are many; some take root as a plant; others soar as an insect of terrible size-- and some, perhaps worst of all, take on an eerily familiar shape. They share a common viciousness, and drip with visible shadow. Our forces have been stretched thin, and a call for aid has been made. The Grand Titania should arrive at our docks tonight to deliver reinforcements. The problem now is a great fog that has blanketed the rocky coast of our land, and the new lighthouse keeper, Fotas, has been unresponsive to our communications as his tower remains dark. A courier was sent, but reported that he dared not pass the Lantern Bridge, for it has been overtaken by inky brambles dripping with shadow, and the water carries a smell of rot. The forest through which the road cuts has been known to harbor both rogue and beast, and the forest groans with hints of some greater threat lurking in the beyond. Go, clear the path and escort Alekos, the retired lighthouse keeper, to his post before the Grand Titania arrives with soldiers from the City State of New Hammer across the sea.
