It’s known for its ambitious effort to reinvent itself as a destination for well-heeled locavore tourists from Atlanta and beyond. Quaint bed-and-breakfast inns and high end restaurants are beginning to pop up among the pecan orchards, bringing… new people to Quigley. Combine this influx of rich tourists and the people eager to absorb their dollars with an impoverished farming community, add in a sudden spike in the price of pecans that makes them worth a nickel a pop, and you have a recipe for a delicious Fiasco.
