Many writers would like to include more diversity in their work, come and learn how to write effectively about people with different backgrounds and experience, without creating a stereotype. We’ll discuss sensitivity readers, cultural appropriation, as well as dos and don’ts for both #ownvoice writers and those who want to be more inclusive in their work. Presented by Chantelle Aimée Osman, author and Anthony Award-nominated blogger and consultant with A Twist of Karma Entertainment, LLC, specializing in mystery/thriller and science-fiction/fantasy.
