Participants will gain an understanding on how superheroes can connect children on the spectrum to the classroom, with special insight from comic book creator Led Bradshaw of Jetpulse Comics. In this engaging and interactive session using inexpensive materials, attendees will learn how graphic novels and superhero comics can be used to in K-3 grades to inspire literacy skills, design thinking, self-awareness, and other character traits through fun, 21st century skill learning.
