What is a Conlang? As part of the detailed world of middle earth, author and linguist J.R.R. Tolkien also constructed multiple languages (conlangs) like those created for Star Trek and Game of Thrones that are specific to different species and cultures within his universe. We will look at the more prominent Sindarin and Quenya of the Elves as well as the Black Speech of Mordor and their real life linguistic inspirations.
