She's also the author of 13 children's books that revolve around animals, conservation, ecosystems and more. A writer, editor, musician, and artist, Susan can talk about superhero animals like Steve The Dung Beetle for as long as anyone will listen. Matthew Strangwayes - Matt Strangwayes feels that life is an adventure, and that books should be too — sometimes literally and always figuratively. A seasoned writer, musician, and raconteur, he finds inspiration in just about anything that crosses his path. A fascination with the ecology of the Desert Southwest brought Matt from New York State to Arizona in the mid-90’s, and he has not looked back. As the Phoenix Zoo’s Interpretive Content Manager, he has the privilege of learning astounding new things about the natural world every day.
