Savage Worlds Adventure Edition The train chugs along, rocking gently as miles of desert and brush stretch out as far as the eye can see. The ride from Roswell to Phoenix has been pleasantly uneventful, and it sure beats getting saddle sore or attacked by highwaymen on the open trail. A few passengers sit quietly in the dining car, unaware of the fog beginning to form outside the windows. Soon the fog is thicker than day ol’ pea soup, blocking out all visibility past the glass windows. The whistle sounds like a forlorn call in the night. The brakes hiss and screech when the train slows down to a stop. The fog clears just enough to reveal a single platform, sahuaro and open desert have been replaced by dense towering pines. It would appear the train took a wrong turn at Albuquerque...This will be a one-shot using material converted from the Curse of Strahd to the Deadlands setting. Players will be using Seasoned Rank characters, I have plenty of pre-made archetypes ready to play, or can create their own using the SWADE edition Core Rule book and the SWADE edition Deadlands book.
